The Dwindling Spiral of Disease

I've been meaning to write this article for a number of months now, and JC's post has inspired me to do it NOW. Bear with me, as this is all "off the cuff" and straight out of the ole brain with no editing for subtlety and finesse. These are cold hard facts straight from the hip. This article is not for you hard core herbalists, nutritionists, and Naturopaths as I'm not into preaching to the choir ;o) This is for those of you who have come here looking for some answers. In a few places, I'll be blowing my own horn (LOL), and I hope you don't mind, as I worked hard for these answers.

First, let's take a look at a few questions here which are very appropriate.

Why is it that, as time goes by our medications from the Medico (the Medical Doctor, which emphatically includes Psychiatrists and Psychologists) get stronger and more potent? Why is it that, as time goes by we seem to get sicker and sicker even though we are going to the Medico regularly and in some cases, even more frequently? Why is it that, as time goes by our diseases seem to get more serious even though we are taking more medications than ever before? Why is it that, when we get a headache, and the Medico recommends an aspirin (or something stronger), the headache then goes away??? And does this mean that our body has an aspirin deficiency??? ;o) Why in the hell do we get sick in the first place??? Is being sick and diseased NORMAL??? Is getting sick the NORMAL condition of human life??? Why in hell do I always feel so bad???????????????????

Wellllllllll, you know, ain't it funny that if you ask the right questions, the right way, the answers will sometimes jump out at you and slap you aside the head with the impact of a 2 by 4. Many times it's just a matter of asking the RIGHT question(s) :o)

Do you see where we're heading here?

Now, I'm going to give you some basic answers here which I can empirically prove beyond any shadow of a doubt, but to place those proofs in a short article like this one would be impossible with the time and space allowed, so for the moment you're just going to have to take my word for the veracity of these answers. Of course you're always welcome to do your own research to find out for yourself whether I lie or tell the truth, and I do encourage this ;o)

#1. THE MENTAL BASIC COMMON DENOMINATOR OF ALL DISEASE IS STRESS!!! The word "Stress" can be used synonymously with the word "Suppression". There are NO exceptions to this. Wherever you find disease, you will find "Stress" as a major factor prior to the acquisition of the disease 100% of the time.

#2. THE PHYSICAL BASIC COMMON DENOMINATOR OF ALL DISEASE IS STOPPAGE!!! For many years, I'd bought and accepted the answer from Doc Schulze who got it from Doc Chrisopher that this common denominator was "Blockage". As I started my journey into the realm of health, this seemed to be true, but in my own research I kept running into circumstances where there was NO "Blockage", and yet a condition of disease existed. It baffled me for a while until I realized that "Blockage" was the wrong answer and that I had to research further. Why? Because "Blockage" did not answer the problem of Diabetes and the non functioning Islets of Langerhans that goes with that condition. It did not solve the problem of exhausted adrenal glands in the (20 pots of coffee a day) patient, as there was NO "Blockage" to be removed. I had to throw out this stable datum and develop another one which was workable 100% of the time. After much research, I finally managed to fine-tune this and came up with "Stoppage" as the final answer. Wherever you find "Blockage", you'll always find "Stoppage" to a greater or lesser degree. But, you don't always find "Blockage" where there is a "Stoppage". Sometimes a condition exists whereby a gland or organ has simply ceased to function. This is "Stoppage". The biggest question I had to ask and prove was, "Did this stable datum I had discovered, lead to a resolution of ALL disease?". The answer so far is, "YES!". I haven't found an exception to date, and believe me, I've looked. One time only, I thought I'd found an exception in a patient until I realized that, "ALL DISEASE IS CURABLE! BUT NOT ALL PATIENTS ARE! THERE ARE THOSE WHO ARE DETERMINED TO BE VICTIMS AND WHO ARE ACTUALLY TRYING TO SUCCUMB!". I could go on for reams and reams with this to show you the proofs, but as I said earlier, space and time will simply not allow it here with this post. I also challenge anyone to disprove the above and I mean this seriously. I've challenged it myself many times just to ensure that it is workable. And workability has always been my guideline. Does a therapy, treatment, or remedy work? That is the proof!

Where does this all fit into the original questions above?

Wellllll, it answers the question "WHY?", and it leads to a resolution of all of the above, but let's look further into this nefarious dwindling spiral of disease.

When you were 2 yrs of age, some family member, family "friend", or neighborhood bully decided to add a little stress to your life (Mom or Dad might not have thought it was stress, but you certainly did), and shortly thereafter you got sick and came down with your first serious cold and fever (a major detox by the way). Now if you were lucky, Mom only freaked out enough to give you a Children's Aspirin, or a Children's Tylenol and you came through it kinda OK. If you weren't quite so lucky, Mom really freaked and took you to the Medico who gave you something stronger (and worse), and usually gave you an antibiotic to boot. Now the apparency is that the symptoms went away and that you were 'cured'. What actually happened was that the symptoms were suppressed (looks like they went away), but that damage was done to your liver and other vital organs which were debilitated by the drugs the Medico gave you. There was a greater threat to your vital organs and the cold (the body's detox) was stopped in order to handle the greater threat of the Medico drugs to the vital organs. Don't believe me? The next time you get a sliver, or a bruise from a bang, or even a cold, hit yourself hard on the big toe with a sledge hammer. I guarantee you, that you'll forget all about the sliver, the bruise and yes even the cold, as your body now has a much more serious situation to handle. Aspirin causes bleeding in the stomach which is a bigger threat to the body than a headache (usually brought about by stoppage in the bowel by the way). The next time you're not feeling too well, go and deliberately pick a fight with your spouse and watch how soon you forget about how bad you're feeling. Of course you may feel even worse tomorrow having created a bad effect on your loved one. But you get the point. You don't need a pristine laboratory with stainless steel test tubes to bear this out. At little testing, observation of life (even remembering) on your own part will verify this.

OK, now you're 6 yrs old, and you've had a dozen or two colds and fevers, and even a couple of flus and everytime you got them, Momma gave you something from the doctor to handle them which further suppressed your body's organs, glands, and immune system. And then one day you really get sick, I mean really sick (temperature of 106, etc. etc.). Momma of course freaks (by the way, this is probably what her mother did which can lead to an "apparency" of "genetic" diseases) and takes you to the family Medico (one more time) and this time the doctor orders a large round of expensive "tests" to discover you have 'allergies' (and if you're really unlucky - ADD or ADHD as well). Now the "nice" doctor prescribes and puts you on another and even stronger medication (drug) to do what??? - You got it. Suppress the symtoms. Is there a 'cure' in sight? Absolutely not. Don't even dare ask. Now as the years go by, you seem to be just one of those poor souls (victim) who seems to be allergic to just about everything and your dosage of medications (and its strengths) seems to go up at the rate of about once a year.

Now your 10 to 15 yrs old, and due to the crime rate in your school (Remember Stress?), you have to stay home for a week because you're really sick one more time and are having lots of trouble breathing. Momma (she's gray by now), takes you to a different Medico (she knows instinctively that something is wrong but can't target it) to have a new battery of tests done to discover what??? Her baby has asthma. Boy, now we're on a whole new set of meds and drugs and some of these are pretty darn strong and the medicine chest is almost so full you couldn't get another thing into it. I mean, things fall out of it when you open the door. Get the picture?

Well time continues to go on (it ususally does ;o) and the meds get stronger, the doses get bigger and so on until we hit the ripe old age of 25 and what-d-ya-know? We're concerned about that little lump in the breast, and we go to the Medico one more time to discover we have the Big "C" - Cancer. Now you've hit the big one. I mean, NO and I mean NO medication / treatment gets as intense as Chemo Therapy and Radiation. Ask a person who's had these. They'll tell you they feel like they've been run over by a train. The other route you could follow if you don't get cancer is the big "H" - Heart Disease. And if you think healing by herbs is radical, you should see an open heart operation. Now that's radical, and don't be surprised if you end up with a baboon heart or something of the sort.

Now you're into operations and all other kinds of 'medical treatment' until you die at the ripe old age of 39 or so.

Some of you may think I'm exaggerating here. I'm not. Talk to a cancer patient. Talk to a heart patient. They'll tell you. There may be some discrepencies in the ages above and some people won't die from cancer till they're 40, 50 or 60. A child might not get that first cold until the age of 3 and your asthma victim might not really develop a serious case until he's 25 or so. The point I'm trying to make here is that, there is a dwindling spiral of disease and the Medical Doctor is into nothing but - DISEASE MANAGEMENT. That's all! Nothing else! And don't you dare ask how much money the Medico has made through this whole process. I'll tell you, HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!!! Not just from you and your insurance, but also as kickbacks (rewards, incentives, whatever you want to call them) from the big pharmaceutical companies as well.

Now, where do you think a lot of this "Stress" is coming from? You got it. From the Medicos themselves who are at the very least placing a heavy "stress" on the body by the use of all these drugs (Oh yes, you can be very easily mentally stressed by drugs). Do you want to see a Medico go berserk? Just tell him you want to get a second opinion from an alternative practitioner. Oooooooooh, I know not all of them are "Bad", and many of them are just miseducated and ignorant, but the majority are in it for only one thing = THE BUCK! And believe me, they create their patients right from the cradle.

I'm going to give you a few new concepts here.

GOOD VITAL HEALTH IS 'NORMAL'! Think about it. Doesn't this instinctively make sense to you?

THE BODY CAN ACTUALLY HEAL ITSELF! IT WAS DESIGNED TO DO SO! Hey! You break a leg and when the Medico puts it into a cast (one of the few things he's good at), the bones grow back together again don't they? (and not at the direction of the doctor either) Then what makes you think that the body can't heal all the other things that is wrong with it?

DISEASE IS NOT NORMAL! YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR IT AND EARN IT! You may or may not believe me here. But you did everything that was necessary to earn your disease. Oh, you had help from others, no doubt about that, but you were the one who made the decision to keep doing the same old bad habits. You were the one who as an adult continued going to the Medico for your monthly dose of drugs.

Where does the buck stop??? Well, actually the buck stops with the Medical Doctor, but the responsibility is ultimately yours.

Some people tell me they are looking for a good doctor. I tell people that I'm looking for good patients.

And what is my definition of a good patient? Someone who realizes that they are fully responsible for the condition they are in - good or bad. They realize that they are the "Causative" factor in their own lives and refuse to be victims. They know that their 'healing' is their own responsibility. Only they can effect their own 'CURE'.

The original definition of "Doctor" meant "Teacher" and that's what I'm all about. I can supply the tools and the knowledge for you to achieve a marvelous healing. But it is you who'll avail yourself of this knowledge and then take the first step to your own recovery and reverse this dwindling spiral of disease. And there'll be no whining or snivelling while you're doing it.

You can do it if you truly want to. You really can.

It's ORANGE PEELS!!!

I launched an information campaign to raise awareness about the use of vitamin D for COVID-19 back in June 2020. My own vitamin D review was published October 31, 2020, in the high-impact, peer-reviewed journal Nutrients.1

At the time, 14 observational studies suggested vitamin D levels are inversely linked with the incidence or severity of COVID-19, and my paper concluded, "The evidence seems strong enough that people and physicians can use or recommend vitamin D supplements to prevent or treat COVID-19."2

I was widely vilified and discredited in the media for bringing attention to vitamin D's potential for COVID-19. The New York Times, in their July 2021 front-page hit piece,3 even dubbed me, "The most Influential spreader of coronavirus misinformation online," in an attempt to minimize my efforts. The reporter claimed she could not verify my published study on vitamin D, even though I sent her a link to it, and it's easy to find online.

Now, however, as is usually the case, the truth is being set free. An increasing number of studies are confirming what I said in 2020 — that vitamin D is a potent and highly effective intervention for COVID-19.

New Studies on Vitamin D and COVID-19

Giving vitamin D to people with COVID-19 cut risk of death from SARS-CoV-2 by 51% and reduced risk of admission to the intensive care unit (ICU) by 72%.4 This was the finding of a meta-analysis and trial sequential analysis (TSA), which weighs errors in order to assess if further studies are needed5 — or the results are so solid they're unlikely to be affected by other studies.

The TSA revealed "the protective role of vitamin D and ICU admission showed that, since the pooling of the studies reached a definite sample size, the positive association is conclusive."6 To put it another way, the results suggest "a definitive association between the protective role of vitamin D and ICU hospitalization."7

Words like "conclusive" and "definitive" aren't typically used lightly in scientific research. So, this finding is indeed impressive — although not altogether surprising, since a wealth of other data also shows vitamin D's protective effect against COVID-19.

What does raise eyebrows, however, is why the study, which has major implications for public health, isn't being talked about — and vitamin D isn't being widely recommended for COVID-19.

Vitamin D Offers Serious Protection Against COVID-19

In the video above, John Campbell, a retired nurse and teacher based in England, details the study, which was published in the journal Pharmaceuticals.8 He believes regulatory authorities are acting unethically by not recommending vitamin D for COVID-19. Not only did COVID-19 patients supplemented with vitamin D have lower rates of ICU admission and fewer mortality events, but they also had lower rates of COVID-19 infection, by 54%.9

In other words, vitamin D provided significant protection against SARS-CoV-2 infection. Meanwhile, throughout the pandemic, "high-risk interventions were carried out. Very, very safe interventions, like vitamin D, zinc — basically ignored. It really is a scandal. A total scandal. Absolute disgrace," Campbell says.10 The study laid out a number of reasons why it makes perfect sense that vitamin D fights COVID-19, stating:11

"COVID-19 is characterized by high levels of inflammatory markers, including C-reactive protein (CRP), and increased levels of inflammatory cytokines and chemokines. In this sense, various data have demonstrated the anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and immunomodulatory properties of vitamin D, in addition to the importance of vitamin D for bone health, as well as its role in extra-skeletal function."

Specific examples of how vitamin D may be beneficial in the case of COVID-19 show that it:12

Maintains pulmonary barrier function

Determines the production of antimicrobial peptides

Enhances neutrophil activity, which boosts the innate immune response

Shifts that adaptive immune response to a more T helper cell-2 type

Reduces the production of proinflammatory cytokines

Increases the anti-inflammatory response

Taken together, the researchers again stated that an "indisputable association between vitamin D supplementation and the protective effect on ICU admission can be considered definitive evidence."13

High-Dose Vitamin D Saves Many COVID Patients

Another study investigated the effect of the drug tocilizumab and other factors, including high-dose vitamin D, in people with severe COVID-19.14 Perhaps most revealing was Table 3,15 which showed the effects of co-management agents including vitamin D, anticoagulants, steroids and antivirals. Among the seven patients who received high-dose vitamin D, none died. Instead, 100% of the group improved. According to the study:16

"100% of the patients with a low vitamin D status (less than 20 ng/mL) receiving high doses of vitamin D (50,000 IU every other day for two weeks or one intramuscular shot of 300,000 IU) showed clinical improvement compared to those receiving the usual treatment doses (10,000 IU daily or less) or those who did not receive it."

In response, science journalist Simon Goddek, Ph.D., tweeted, "What happens if you administer high doses of Vitamin D to severe COVID-19 patients? They simply won't die, as this study shows."17

Vitamin D Lowers COVID-19 Infection and Death

Yet another study — this one published in Scientific Reports18 — shows the association between vitamin D, a "safe, widely available and affordable treatment,"19 and COVID-19 protection cannot be ignored.

Researchers from Johns Hopkins University, the University of Chicago and the Department of Veterans Health Affairs conducted a large-scale pharmacoepidemiologic study of the association between vitamin D3 and D2 supplementation and the probability of COVID-19 infection and mortality.20

"Vitamin D deficiency has long been associated with reduced immune function that can lead to viral infection. Several studies have shown that vitamin D deficiency … increases the risk of infection with COVID-19," they wrote.21

The study involved a large population of veterans, including 220,265 patients supplemented with vitamin D3 before and during the pandemic, and 407,860 untreated patients.22 Those taking vitamin D3 had a 20% lower risk. Death from COVID-19 was also lower among those taking vitamin D — 33% lower among those taking vitamin D3.23

"These associated reductions in risk are substantial and justify more significant exploration and confirmation using RCTs [randomized controlled trials]," the researchers explained. "This is particularly important given the high rates of vitamin D deficiency in the U.S. population and COVID-19."24

About half the U.S. population has insufficient or deficient levels of vitamin D, and rates of vitamin D deficiency are even higher in people with darker skin, those living in higher latitudes in the winter, nursing home residents and people with reduced sun exposure. Among groups with low levels of vitamin D, rates of COVID-19 are higher.25

"In response to these findings, physicians might consider regularly prescribing vitamin D3 to patients with deficient levels to protect them against COVID-19 infection and related mortality. The 50,000 IU dosage may be especially beneficial," according to the study.26

Why Isn't Vitamin D Recommended for COVID?

The fact that vitamin D helps combat COVID-19 was widely censored and deemed "misinformation" during the pandemic. And despite the "conclusive" evidence, the U.K.'s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) states, "Do not offer a vitamin D supplement to people solely to prevent COVID‑19, except as part of a clinical trial." It added:27

"Based on direct evidence from the NICE evidence review and indirect evidence from the SACN [Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition] rapid review of vitamin D in acute respiratory tract infection (which did not include COVID‑19 as an outcome), the panel agreed that there was not enough evidence to recommend vitamin D supplements solely for preventing COVID‑19."

Yet, vitamin D is typically nontoxic, representing a low-risk option that could have significant positive public health outcomes. When the researchers of the Scientific Reports study extrapolated their vitamin D findings to the entire U.S. population in 2020, they found supplementation with vitamin D3 would have prevented 4 million COVID-19 cases and 116,000 deaths.28 Campbell asks:29

"Now, why is this not being used despite the definitive evidence … why is it not being advised? Why is it not being shouted from the hilltops? … Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Authority in the United Kingdom is 86% industry-funded. Of course, they have no vested interest.

This is the national body that represents medicine … throughout all of the United Kingdom, and it's 86% industry-funded. Coincidentally, vitamin D, which is basically free — it's dirt cheap — and is essentially completely safe is not recommended. Other interventions, which are associated with high levels of risk are recommended … When is this going to be addressed? This is outrageous."

This conflict of interest isn't unique to the U.K., however. Significant portions of regulatory agencies' budgets around the world come from the pharmaceutical industry that these agencies are supposed to regulate. For instance:30

Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration — 96% of budget derived from industry

Europe's EMA — 89%

U.K.'s MHRA —6%

Japan's Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency — 85%

U.S. FDA — 65%8

Health Canada — 50.5%

Vitamin D Even Improves Pancreatic Cancer

Another little-talked-about benefit of vitamin D relates to pancreatic cancer, one of the deadliest forms of cancer with a five-year survival rate of just 7.2%.31 Researchers published the case of an 83-year-old woman with pancreatic cancer "who errantly took supratherapeutic doses of vitamin D 50,000 U daily, achieving a serum 25(OH)D level of more than 150 ng/mL, with no appreciable side effects."

Eight months after diagnosis — and consistent daily intake of high-dose vitamin D — scans revealed "no evidence of disease progression." Further, the researchers noted, "Currently she describes as feeling quite well with no difficulty accomplishing her activities of daily living." They called for further research to investigate:32

"One cannot conclude that her vitamin D dose was in any way related to this outcome. There is only one CT scan before the initiation of vitamin D, and there is no way to know what her pace of disease would have been in the absence of vitamin D supplementation. In addition, she was taking several other supplements such as shitake mushrooms, although inconsistently and for a shorter duration, which were also intended to treat her malignancy.

Nonetheless, given the poor prognosis of pancreatic cancer and the limited treatment options for patients, this case should stimulate further investigation. The daily dose of 50,000 U of vitamin D3 was well tolerated in our patient for over 10 months at the time of writing. Consideration should be given to a clinical trial that evaluates a similar dose."

I've long recommended a vitamin D level of 40 to 60 ng/ml for optimal health and disease prevention. However, higher levels of 60 to 80 ng/ml may be even better, while a level upward of 100 ng/mL appears safe and beneficial for certain conditions, especially cancer.33

Ideally, Get Your Vitamin D From the Sun

Optimizing your vitamin D levels isn't only about preventing COVID-19; it supports health in multiple ways. It's been shown that people genetically predisposed to vitamin D deficiency were 25% more likely to die from any cause compared to those with different genetics conducive to healthy vitamin D levels.34

To optimize your levels, regular sun exposure is the best option, as not only will it naturally raise your vitamin D levels to healthy levels, but it will provide numerous other benefits, such as enhanced production of melatonin — a potent anticancer agent.35 However, if you're unable to get adequate sun exposure each day, supplementation may be necessary.

The only way to determine how much sun exposure is enough and/or how much vitamin D3 you need to take is to measure your vitamin D level, ideally twice a year. When supplementing, also remember vitamins D and K2, calcium and magnesium all work together and must be properly balanced for optimal health.

Once you've confirmed your vitamin D levels via testing, adjust your sun exposure and/or vitamin D3 supplementation accordingly. Then, remember to retest in three to four months to make sure you've reached your target level.

Definition: ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) a mental disorder that is a combination of behaviors similar to the ones above with “hyperactivity” being present.

Do you know that both ADD and ADHD were not “discovered” but were “voted” into existence by a committee of the American Psychiatric Association?

Furthermore, it is acknowledged that the “Causes” are unknown and yet both of these “conditions” were voted in as being chemical imbalances in the brain without one shred of scientific evidence. Gene R. Haislip, Deputy Assistant Administrator, Office of Diversion Control, Drug Enforcement Administration was quoted as saying, “This agency has not made a determination of whether ADHD is a disease or a syndrome… We are also unaware that ADHD has been validated as a biologic/organic syndrome or disease”. With ADD or ADHD, there are NO brain scans, NO blood tests, NO saliva or urine samples taken, and the entire diagnosis is based on the OPINION of health professionals who much of the time render this judgment on the speculated opinion of school teachers mislead by Psychiatry, and who are not trained in the field of physical health or its diagnosis.

Today over 6 MILLION American children are being labeled as ADD or ADHD, and are being forced or intimidated into taking brain damaging, psychiatric drugs such as Ritalin®, Concerta®, Adderall®, etc, for these supposed diseases.

This is beyond criminal. It is completely evil and is the greatest hoax of the 20th century while being its most destructive. For this massive drugging of our youth has the potential of totally destroying our future American society, and I compare this outrageous act to the holocaust in Germany in the 1930’s and 40’s.

Often, I’m told by others, that the symptoms mentioned in these so called “diseases” are so very real and that this is why they’ve believed the Psychs and agreed with the diagnosis in the first place. I then get asked, “Well – if these diseases are not real and they are hoaxes, what is “causing” these symptoms?” Well – I’m going to answer that one for you too, and I don’t really think you’re going to be that surprised by the explanation once you find out what it is.

So, what is this all-encompassing Cause???

Malnutrition! That’s it! That’s all of it!

What do I mean by malnutrition? Well – “mal” means “bad”, so we’re talking about “bad” nutrition here and during the last 30 years the quality of food throughout the World especially in the US has gone dramatically down. If you believe your taste buds here, you probably won’t believe me, but what I’m about to reveal to you are cold hard facts.

There are 3 major problem areas in our food chain that directly contribute to the “cause” of the symptoms found in these two bogus, psychiatric diseases.

#1. All meats and meat products: For the last 30+ years, the amount of steroids, hormones, and antibiotics used in these products has grown yearly at an alarming rate. There is no meat source that has not been affected by these practices. It is not just the beef and pork industries that are the culprits here, the commercial dairy, chicken and farm raised fish industries are just as bad, if not worse and the more insidious due to their lower profile. All commercial milk, cheeses, and eggs are loaded full of these hormones, steroids, and antibiotics.

This is the major cause behind our children going through puberty at 7, 8, and 9 years of age instead of the usual 12 through 15. It’s no wonder our children are demonstrating these symptoms when puberty is kicking in so early. These symptoms are very real, but the ADD & ADHD labels are an evil con job.

The Solution here is to eat ONLY, CERTIFIED ORGANIC MEAT PRODUCTS AND BYPRODUCTS.

#2. Sugar: All processed white and brown sugars are deadly. They are a “slow” poison. There is no nutritional value to sugar whatsoever.

Sugar creates: a.) a false energy boost that burns the individual out faster. b.) stress to the Pancreas that will eventually bring about Diabetes. c.) anxiety. d.) HYPERACTIVITY! e.) grief. f.) pimples. g.) boils. h.) and lastly, a lowered or non-existent immune system that can allow all kinds of diseases to strike, such as colds, pneumonias, and flus to name a few.

The solution for sugar if one has to satisfy a sweet tooth is to eat only ORGANIC RAW HONEY, ORGANIC MAPLE SYRUP, AND ORGANIC STEVIA PRODUCTS.

An awesome book to read on the subject that goes into even greater detail is: Sugar Blues by William F. Dufty. This book is a “must” read.

#3. And lastly in the food chain problem area is the little known subject of Enzyme Inhibitors. I’ve written a comprehensive article on this topic, and I strongly recommend you read it for a full understanding of this very important issue.

In a nutshell, Enzyme Inhibitors are found in all grains, seeds, nuts, and most beans, and these biochemical agents can slow down and even stop many of your body’s natural functions.

Again the solution is simple. Eat only those grains, seeds, nuts and beans that have been soaked in water for at least 12 hours. Soaking gets rid of Enzyme Inhibitors. Buy only breads that have been made from sprouted grains.

Don’t believe that the Psychs and the Medical Doctors are simply ignorant about these solutions. They are very well aware of them. Criminally so!

The Hidden Influence
(Enzyme Inhibitors)

One of the most important areas in the field of Nutrition is the subject of grains, seeds, tree nuts and beans, but especially grains. This is one area that has been grossly misunderstood by many in the Naturopathic field for quite some time. Many health food stores and authors of recipe books are ignorant of this data. After reading this article, you will understand why so many Americans are overweight and unhealthy.

You can take a kernel of Spelt, or Hard Red Winter Wheat, Rye, or Barley, or any other grain, and place it on your dining room table and leave it there for the next five years. Do you know, it won’t rot or decompose one little bit? They’ve even found grain in the pyramids over 2000 years old and when water was added, some of the kernels actually started to grow.

This is an amazing fact. But, why is this???

Well - all grains, seeds, tree nuts, and most beans have in them a live, biochemical agent called an enzyme inhibitor.

What is this??? And what is an enzyme???

Simply speaking, an enzyme is a substance similar to a protein that allows nourishment to easily move around and feed the entire body. Furthermore, enzymes are catalysts that allow biochemical changes to occur in your system. There are literally thousands of different kinds of enzymes and they allow every organ and gland in the body to be in communication with each other.

I’ll give you an example. Let’s say that your Liver receives some enzymes from some food you’ve just eaten. It will convert those enzymes into a different enzyme, and use this newly created enzyme to communicate and send some nourishment to your Pancreas. Your Pancreas then takes this enzyme it just received from the Liver, converts it into a totally different enzyme and uses this one to communicate with and nourish the Spleen. And so on, and so on! This happens throughout the entire body, and even organs and glands like the uterus; ovaries, testes and the adrenals have their own enzyme usage and enzyme production.

So what is an enzyme inhibitor???

Inhibit means “stop”, so an enzyme inhibitor is an ingredient found in all grains, seeds, tree nuts, and beans, and these stop enzyme activity from happening. Their main purpose is to preserve these foods until the right condition exists where they can now grow into a parent plant. It’s nature’s way of preserving the life force for the purpose of future plant reproduction. The main ingredient that triggers that “right” condition where the seed will start growing is Water.

But what happens when we eat foods that have these enzyme inhibitors in them???

You got it! Go to the head of the class. They begin stopping the natural enzyme activity in our bodies. These foods are very difficult to digest and actually stop the enzyme action that is supposed to be happening naturally. This means, that every time you eat pasta, bread, cake, cereal, and all other grain products that are not made from “sprouted grains”, you are slowing down the communication processes throughout the entire body, and are therefore suppressing the body’s ability to function at peak performance. The same data applies when it comes to seeds, tree nuts, and most beans. Enzyme inhibitors exist in all of these foods, but they exist in the greatest quantity in grains. This explains the latest craze where everyone and their grandmother are diagnosed with gluten intolerance. It is not gluten that the body finds intolerable, but the lack of the body’s ability to process gluten due to the enzyme inhibitors.

Does this mean we need to knock off all of these foods because they’re bad for us???

Absolutely not! On the contrary! It just means we have to prepare them correctly so that the enzyme inhibitors are no longer present. Grains, seeds, tree nuts and beans are some of the most perfect foods when prepared correctly. They are very high in assimilable amino acids (proteins) once the enzyme inhibitors are gone. Used properly they are extremely rich in the exact kinds of enzymes our bodies need to keep us in good physical condition.

So – how does one go about getting rid of enzyme inhibitors???

The answer to this is very simple. SPROUTING! You soak these foods in water for 6 to 12 hours depending on the food. The water sends them into “sprout” mode or in other words starts the germination process. Then you drain the water and rinse the sprouts 2 to 4 times over the next 12 hours. The entire process of completely removing all enzyme inhibitors takes a total of 24 hours. Read on, as I’m going to get into this a little deeper.

Some of the problems encountered by ingesting enzyme inhibitors are: Obesity, Lethargy, Gas, Bloating, High Blood Pressure, Gastrointestinal difficulties, an enlarged Pancreas, Diabetes initiation, destruction of the body’s own natural production of enzymes and an overall general condition of poor health. I have even observed all of the mental symptoms associated with the bogus psychiatric diseases ADD and ADHD.

From my research, it is obvious that there are many associated negative effects as well. I have concluded that meat protein will tend to clog in the presence of enzyme inhibitors becoming less utilizable, while animal fats concentrate and raise cholesterol as well as triglyceride levels.

Do you see how all the different levels of nutrition dovetail with each other? What an amazing system?

An awesome discovery you’ll make when you get into sprouting is how great everything tastes! When you place those sunflower seeds into that sprouting jar, add water and let them soak for 8 hours, the germination process starts. Empty the water at the end of 8 hours and place the jar on a 45 degree angle out of direct sunlight and in a place where it can drain for the next 12 to 16 hours. Your sprouts need air circulation so be sure that the seeds do not cover more than half of the jar lid opening. Sprouts should be rinsed 2 to 4 times during this 12 to 16 hours and returned to the position described above. At the end of the 24 hour period, drain sprouts well and spread them on unbleached paper towels on a cookie sheet and let dry. The enzyme inhibitors are gone and you’ll have a taste treat you’ve never had before. These seeds are now bursting with flavor! Sprouting makes all grains fully utilizable and the only bread you eat should be made from sprouted grains – Ezekiel or Manna.

A great book to read which has all the charts on germination time for the various foods is: “Dining in the Raw” by Rita Romano, published by Kensington Books. Additionally, read the article written by Valorie Shillington entitled “How to Grow your own Sprouts”.

The above information will put your family on the road to health. It’s very powerful. Use it!

Nowadays, the subject of hormones is almost as popular as a coyote in a chicken coop. There’s PMS, Prostate difficulties, Menopause, Impotence, Infertility, Hair Loss, Excessive Hair Growth, Early Puberty, and even some forms of Cancer, plus many other conditions too numerous to mention.

I’ve talked about this before but it is definitely worth repeating. A “major” CAUSE of ALL of these problems is the amount of Hormones, Steroids, and Antibiotics used in the entire Commercial Meat Industry!!! You and your family should eat ORGANIC meat only!

The Medico’s answer, and even the solution of many “Natural Healthcare Professionals”, is to supplement or replace hormones since your body is not producing or over producing them. These include Premarin (urine from pregnant horses), and Progesterone Cream among others. They are extremely destructive for the following reasons.

1. These replacement hormones and many other similar products have been directly linked to Cancer in countless patients.

2. These concoctions may give temporary relief of the symptoms so that one now “seems” better, but they DO NOTHING to CORRECT the condition one is trying to handle. You have to keep taking them for years just to continue to “feel OK”.

3. The “SYMPTOM RELIEF” from using these is always masking some underlying problem that, if not attended to, could eventually turn into a major life threatening condition such as Cancer, fibroid tumors, etc. etc.

4. These hormones can turn on “mental conditions” whereby one could end up being diagnosed with some phony baloney psychiatric disorder, be put on drugs and the dwindling spiral of health continues.

I think you'll agree that the best approach is to find the true “CAUSE” and then correct the vitamin, mineral, nutritional and biochemical imbalances found, thus allowing the body to once again stabilize its own hormones. Given the correct tools, and a cleansing program, this will happen.

Put them in a ceramic salt shaker and grind them up over your food. They are very spicy and taste almost like black pepper. You can even use them on your food instead of pepper if you wish.

The second part of the secret and a great source of heavy duty enzymes is fresh organic Pineapple. Pineapple is loaded full of hard core enzymes. Buy one and eat it, and your body will thank you for days.

(Use it! or Lose it!)


You know, I’ve actually found some people that consider “Exercise” a dirty word. There are a few who will find this article to be about as popular as a fox in a hen house. ;o)

And yet, this one subject when introduced into a health building program can mean all the difference in the world when it comes to being physically healthy, or not. It may be hard to understand this one fact, but whether you live or die, might hinge on whether or not you’re exercising. It’s that important.

There are a million reasons for not starting on an exercise program. “Too Tired”, “Too Old”, “Too Fat”, “Too Lazy errrrrrr I mean Busy ;o)”, “Too Sick, etc. etc”. Welllllll, the bottom line is: “Move it! or Lose it!” I’m sorry to have to tell you this, but if you want to have some kind of quality in your life, it has to include some form of exercise. It’s that, or turning your life over to the medicos who will end up drugging you, and carving you up for the rest of your life.

Every “Natural” Health Building program has to included ALL the following factors.
1. Nutrition: Wholesome organic foods. Much of it should be raw.
2. Clean Air to breathe.
3. Pure Water to drink.
4. Some daily Sunlight.
5. Biochemistry: Vitamins and minerals, Enzymes, Essential Fats and Proteins.
6. Exercise.
7. Mental Development.
8. Spiritual Growth.

A person who is extremely healthy is addressing all of the above on a daily basis. Probably the most neglected by the general public is #8. However this “Spiritual” part of health, I leave up to the individual to follow where his or her heart leads. The only comment I’ll make on it is this. I’ve observed that those individuals who embrace the spiritual in their daily regimen are usually very happy people. Those who don’t include this facet of life seem to be very miserable indeed.

The second most neglected of these points is Exercise, and I believe I can speak with some authority here. Without question, the absolute best exercise a person can be involved with is “RUNNING”! The human body was designed to RUN! Period! The American Indian of just a century ago, thought nothing of running for a whole day to get to where he needed to go. It was common for him and his friends to be running down a deer or an elk in order to put some food on the table. This was his daily regimen.

However, nowadays, the major problem with Running is that too many Americans are already grossly over weight, and have been for years. They are too sick, too injured, and too unhealthy to even run a block or two let alone 5 or 6 miles. There needs to be a gradient here so that everyone can work themselves back up to what they should be able to do naturally. Believe it or not, this is what should be considered to be “normal”.

And what is this gradient???

Back in the early days of the Roman Empire, a common Roman Soldier would march 25 to 35 miles in one day, and could do this for a week or two at a time. “WALKING” is the second best exercise, and is that gradient step before “running”. I know many senior citizens who walk a couple of miles every day as their sole exercise, and these folks are in excellent physical condition.

“But”, you say. “What about those people who are badly injured and can’t even walk due to broken bones or damaged body parts. Welllllllll, this leads us to the third and last form of exercise in this gradient scale, and this is “REBOUNDING”. Rebounding on a mini trampoline is the third best exercise I know of and is a step that anyone can do. Even a person with broken bones that have been set into a cast can do a few minutes of rebounding a day with no further damage done to the body. You can even put a person in a chair on a rebounder and have someone else do the jumping in order to get the exercise the person needs. This is the lowest gradient there is, and anyone can do this. Some rebounders actually come with hand holds and a chair-like system attached to them.

And what do all these gradients have in common?

Each one of these exercises compresses and decompresses every cell in the body. Even your fingernails get exercised with each of the above regimens. Every time you hit the lower part of your step when running or walking, or the bottom of your bounce when rebounding, you are compressing every cell in your body. And when you are at the top of your bounce or step, your body’s cells are fully decompressed. Every single cell gets exercised this way.

I know that this is not going to be popular with many of you, but this is an area that needs to be looked at. There is no getting around it, and if you do face up to it, I can guarantee you that after a month or two of doing one of the above exercises, you’ll be feeling better than you have in years. I’ve never seen a fat runner. Never! Have you?

How do I know all this???

Well, on a personal note, I began running the summer I turned 50 years old. I’d never been a runner in my entire life before that age. The first day I started running, I was 35 pounds over weight, generally unhealthy, and I covered about 200 yards before I fell over completely exhausted.

Seven years later, I now run in 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), and even 15K / 9.3 mile races and my times are not that bad for my age. I also look about 20 years younger, am as strong as a horse, and haven’t been sick even once since that time.

If I can do it. So can you. You really can.

Even though some of you don’t want to hear this in your current state of health, I can honestly say from experience, that I am so glad I made this permanent lifestyle change and added running to my health regimen. Now, I love it, and wouldn’t dream of living my life any other way.

You can be healthy!!!

Exercise plays a very important role in the overall health plan of getting you into a state of excellent health, and there is no way it can be ignored. It’s just one of those things that’s gotta be done!!!

The Importance of Distilled Water

"Only oxygen is more essential than water in sustaining the life of all living organisms. Human beings can live for several weeks without proteins, carbohydrates, and fats but just a few days without water. The quality of your tissues, their performance, and their resistance to disease and injury are absolutely linked to the quality and quantity of water you drink. Experts agree that in order to maintain optimum health one needs to drink 8-10 glasses of water per day. The daily cleansing of wastes from each cell, the flushing of the alimentary canal and the purifying of the blood are all dependent on our drinking water.

Most people get their water from the household tap. This water originates from lakes, rivers, streams, and underground sources. The majority of water goes through a system of cleaning at the local water treatment plant. However, because of a lack of funds to provide the necessary technology, many harmful pollutants and water borne diseases are present in the finished treated water.

Our tap water is treated only to minimum standards, by sedimentation, filtration, chemical conditioning and disinfection with chlorine. The toxic metals, pesticides, industrial chemical,... the 50 or so chemicals used in the water treatment are present in the already treated water, along with the dead bacteria killed by the chlorine, as are the carcinogenic Trihalomethanes from the chlorine itself, that are known to cause major liver problems.

Bacteria, viruses, synthetic compounds, metals, and radionuclides are the contaminants that become incorporated into our drinking water, and have the potential to cause health effects ranging from low grade sub-clinical illnesses such as colds and flue to death from cancer." "There are more than 60,000 chemical contaminants in water. Any municipal water supply is likely to have at least a thousand of these. Water authorities do what they can, but it is too great an expense to ensure our tap water is healthy enough for us to drink.

Fifty percent of the US population uses water that in part is made up of recently discharged wastewater. And like the treatments for drinking water, wastewater treatments do not remove many of the toxic substances." (Prevention Magazine)

"The contamination is beyond help. More than 55,000 of the regulated chemical dumps across the nation are leaking into the ground water. Science News, 1993. With all this in mind, you need to know that distilled water is an excellent source of water.

Distilled water is water which has been heated to the boiling point so that impurities are separated from the water which itself becomes vapor or steam. It is then condensed back into pure liquid form. The impurities remain in the residue which is simply thrown away. Distilled water contains no solids, minerals or trace elements, and has no taste. Distillation removes the debris, bacteria, and other contaminants.

Distilled water has been a water purity standard in analytical labs, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and many other industries for many years and more recently a gold standard for drinking. Distillation duplicates nature’s hydrologic cycle. The sun’s heat vaporizes the water and draws it from the earth’s surface into the atmosphere. The impurities remain. As the vapor cools, it falls back to the earth as rain, snow, and other precipitation. As it leaves the clouds, the precipitation is pure but as it makes is descent to the earth it picks up the various forms of pollution found in the air. Then, as it reaches the ground, the water continues to pick-up contaminants on its way back to the various bodies of water on the earth. In mechanized distillation, water is boiled in a distiller, which creates steam that rises and leaves virtually all contaminants behind in the boiling chamber. Steam is then collected and condensed into pure, clean distilled water leaving the impurities behind to eventually flush down the drain. Because of the heat involved in the process of creating steam, all forms of bacteria and all water borne diseases are destroyed. Distilled water is the only form of water, which is free from all contaminants and impurities. Distilled water is the only clean water. Virtually everything is removed from the water by steam distillation. Seven brands we tested run from 2 - 12 PPM contaminants. That’s about as clean as you can get". "Do I need to tell you why drinking plenty of good quality water is as essential to health as eating properly? In a nutshell: one of the main activities of the body’s self-healing system is filtration of the blood, a job performed mostly by the kidneys which a little help from the mechanism of perspiration. Kidneys are such efficient, compact and miraculous filters that they put to shame the dialysis machines used the maintain the patients with renal failure. The heart, blood, and kidneys are a single functional unit the constantly cleanses and purifies itself, removing all the toxic wastes of metabolism and the breakdown products of harmful substances that get onto our bodies one way or another. This purification system can operate efficiently only if the volume of water flowing through it is sufficient to carry away the waste. Further, as good quality steam distilled water enters the body, it has the ability to pick-up mineral deposits accumulated in cells, joints, artery walls, or wherever such deposits occur and begin to carry them out. Gallstones and kidney stones then decrease, and it also lessens arthritic pain as joints become more supple and movable.” (Dr. Andrew Weil, Natural Health, Natural Medicine) I don't normally quote this guy as he has a psych orientation, but he's spot on here.

"There are two forms of minerals, organic and inorganic. Inorganic minerals refers to non-vegetable or non-animal matter, i.e. not living. This included carbonate and lime compounds, calcium, iron and magnesium. Because these components are non-living, our bodies can no make use of these minerals and our cells reject them. The result of ingesting these minerals is an accumulation of debris in our bodies. Organic minerals on the other hand are living, and are found in vegetables, fruit, seeds, grains, meats, and nuts which form our daily diet. These are easily assimilated by our cells and are essential for good health. If you rely on water a source of your required minerals,you are sadly lacking. The minerals in water are inorganic, and the body cannot make use of them. The body continually assimilates the much needed minerals from the food we eat.

No, this is physiologically impossible. Some have been lead to believe that because distilled water is so pure, it will leach healthy minerals and trace elements from the body. Distilled water will do this with pipes. In our bodies distilled water cleans out our impurities and replenishes the essential nutrient required for human life; pure, clean, healthy water. Our cells use the organic minerals for body growth and maintenance; however, the impurities that the body cannot make us of are flushed out with distilled water. Distilled water flushes out all the inorganic minerals and pollutants which would otherwise be retained in the body and accumulate in vital organs such as liver, kidneys, intestines and fatty tissue. These minerals and pollutants are gradually increased by drinking impure water. A continuous or prolonged exposure to these minerals and pollutants may cause carcinogens to form within tissues. The cancer may only manifest itself months, years or even decades after such contacts have ceased. And often the causative agents may have totally disappeared from the tissues.

It has become apparent that pollution and contamination exist within our drinking water. With the amount of sewage dumped into drinking water sources, many water borne diseases are present in the so-called “treated” drinking water. This leaves our bodies wide open to diseases.

The viruses of major concern in relation to drinking water are those of intestinal origin, excreted by infected animals or humans, which reach water resources by way of the soils unlimited potential for serious disease and contamination of the human body." (Canadian Nutrition Guide)

Don’t take unnecessary risks, Drink Healthy, Drink Distilled. To be Sure, several drinks of local tap water will not kill you, but common sense will tell you that your body cannot function and survive with daily ingestion of poison.
